Manatee School District drops plan to hire ex-Sarasota superintendent who resigned after sexual harassment scandal

The School District of Manatee County has scrapped a plan to hire former Sarasota schools superintendent Todd Bowden, who in November 2019 resigned amid public outcry over how he handled a sexual harassment complaint involving his chief deputy, for a position at Manatee Technical College.
