Forward Manatee has spent $293K on pro-school tax campaign. Here is where the money is coming from
The Forward Manatee political action committee has spent almost $293,000 on its campaign to win voter approval of an extension of a special property tax levy for the school district, campaign finance records show.
Voters will decide Tuesday whether to extend a 1-mill levy first approved by voters in 2018, to fund higher salaries for teachers and other employees, enhance STEM programs and other services.
