One in 500 Americans have died from COVID-19.

In Manatee County, the coronavirus is killing us at an even faster rate.

As of Wednesday, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says 881 Manatee County residents have died from COVID-19 since the start of the pandemic in March 2020 — or about 1 in every 460 residents.
