COVID-19 death toll continues to climb in Manatee-Sarasota

Infection count in Manatee tops 65,000 since start of pandemic

The deaths of eight more Manatee County residents from COVID-19 have been reported by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control.

The deaths were reported between Nov. 6 and Nov. 13. They raised the total pandemic death toll in Manatee to 1,123 — or 1 in about every 356 residents, based on the 2020 census.
