As vaccinations drop, COVID-19 deaths continue to rise in Manatee

Almost 65,000 coronavirus infections in Manatee County since start of pandemic, according to state

The deaths of nine more Manatee County residents from COVID-19 have been reported by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control.

The deaths were reported between Oct. 31 and Nov. 6. They raised the total pandemic death toll in Manatee to 1,115 — or 1 in about every 358 residents, based on the 2020 census.
